I have to agree…enough is enough!!!!!!! America will not withstand much more no matter how much you bend they expect more and more. I know the part that got my back straighter was the claim of America being built by them sorry that is an insult to all those who died those who worked and broke their backs to build this country and if that offends anyone so be it because I am offended. I have no desire to give up my freedom to speak God’s name nor do I ever intend to do so. I don’t care who gets offended when I put In God I trust on my mail or letters let them be offended. If I pray in the presence of those who get offended so be it. God gave them eye’s and ear’s let them close them because God is and always will be upfront in my life and thank goodness in the lives of many. many others. I don’t expect anyone to take on any religion I hold to my heart but there is only ONE God for everyone and I have no desire to place Him in a closet because He may offend someone. Want happen. How sad we have to feel this bitterness in our hearts because so many can’t adjust to the country they came to live and work in. How very sad. But bitterness is what is building. I do agree… but if we must insist on the National Anthem being sung the way it was written, I’d much like to return to saying the Pledge as it was written… without the “under God” part. That part wasn’t added until 1950-something… ’56, I think, but don’t quote me.
I don’t care that “under God” stuff is all on our money and what not. That is fine, I don’t care. But if I’m to make a pledge to my country, I’d rather not have to say “under God” when I don’t believe in God. Kinda makes saying the whole thing seem false to me. As it is now, I just skip that part.

I agree with your post 200%. I’m tired to death of “political correctness”. To me, it’s another form of WUSSING OUT and I believe the U.S. is going to pay dearly for our do-nothing action.
On another note, thank you for your comments on my blog. They mean a lot! The garden is gradually finding its way into the freezer and the pantry and our stomachs … oh, bliss!! If I could, I’d air-drop a garden care package on you. This stuff is SO good!!! LOL
