Well one one mess up with the little one as far as I know that is, after school last monday Anthonys Mom was waiting for his bus and it came and went NO ANTHONY well you can just guess her reaction to that , grabs the baby and off to the school ” THE BUS RAN AND MY SON WAS NOT ON IT ! everybody at once OH NO !  (I can tell you it is really scary when your little one comes up missing even for a short time) then his bus shows up at the school and No he was not on this bus ???? off she goes looking for for her son then as she is getting back to her street she sees the bus and there he is showing the driver where he lives , seems when his teacher saw the street name where he lives she said oh thats my route and puts him on her bus, BUT he lives on the west and her route was on the east , lucky for them they live in a little bitty town and only have two school buses, he knows how to get to his house from the highway . so once they got there he could tell her where he lived  it may be funny now but it sure was not funny when it was happening. I am always telling her keep your eyes on the kids never leave them in the car , watch  him till he gets on the bus, never turn your back on them. you just can’t believe how fast they can go missing. well she knows now.

 I remember when my oldest daughter was a baby and we lived in a very small town too so we always had our kids outside playing, everybody did. I also had a new baby ( well I guess I was good at something) anyway the kids were playing in the yard and I was sitting on the steps watching them and I had to go check on the baby, I told them you stay right here Mommy is going to see about the baby and I will be right back, I was not gone more than 90 seconds and when I got back my 2 year daughter WAS GONE we looked everywhere for her I was in a panic, I had no car , no phone, no one around but me and the kids , somehow I got all three kids and ran to the school to get my Aunt who was working there to help me we were looking and could not find her ( how does a 2 year old get away that fast and where is she) I just knew someone had somehow taken her, well just as they were going to turn the school out to help look for her as we had searched the town it didn’t take long , the little old lady who lived about two hundred yards for us came walking out with her saying “she came to visit and we were having milk and cookies” Hell Fire woman couldn’t you hear me screaming for my baby? I didn’t know if I want to hug her to death or beat her litttle bottom, but you can believe I never left them in the yard alone again , if I went in they went in too.

Well we have had a lot more rain and we needed it so thats a good thing, the MAN needed a new weedeater so I gave him a check so he could stop on his way home and pick one, did he NO he got up early Saturday morning and went in, then spends 325.00 bucks on a damm weedeater WHAT ! well you know that knocked a big hole in my budget, who in the hell needs a $325.00 weedeater, ????? so you know he spent the rest of the day working in the yard, ( he really didn’t want to come in too early ) he worked his little but off , had to show me he really needed that high priced thing , guess what Bubba you are going to be doing alot of  yard work til Winter.  Oh well I can’t bitch too much as I get whatever I want when ever I want

I do not remember if I wrote about this before or not but he was off work for three months this Summer he was in the hospital three times  , The 2nd day of April he came home shaking with fever and went right to bed and the next two weeks he pretty much stayed in the bed, I tried everyday to get him to go to the ER but no way, then on the 15th he got up and said ” I think you better that me to the ER” I knew then he was really sick and he had been self medicating himself and nothing was working, I just knew he had pneumonia and he did but not the everyday kind, he had bacteria pneumonia and one of his lungs had filled almost up with fluid they had to put a tube in his lung and drain it for two days , we almost lost him , because he won’t go to the ER earlier, altho he has insuarnce they really don’t like to pay you when you are off sick and they do not even start paying until 7 days after your first visit to the doctor well he was off work for 15 days before he went in so you guessed it NO MONEY, so what to do , well if you are lucky you have a couple of bucks put back, so there went the saving , and I am still playing catch up, and have a stack of medical bills on my desk that will just have to wait for now. But I don’t think I will have any more problems getting him to go to the doctor.

Not alot going on here in the woods, have been getting alittle rain so haven’t had to drag those darn water hoses around for the last few days, ( ME HAPPY ) we live on down slope or hill or whatever you want to call it , anyway my yard slants downward from the road to the lake and it doesn’t look that bad just looking at it but try walking up and down it a few times  NO FUN .

Well my marine (Josh) will be coming home next month before heading to Afghanistan and I just can’t stand to even think about him going there, I am sure every Mother, Grandmother, Wifes & Sisters of these brave young men feel the same way. He has already been to Iraq .

Guess all our family can do is pray to bring him back home safe to us. He tells me “Nana I am not a baby anymore I Am A Marine “  God Bless you my little Marine.but you will always be my baby.you know we look at them and we know they are grown but we still see them as our babies, Right Moms !!!!!!

Little ones have made it thur their first few days of school and no major problems YET !!!!! what worries me the most is the little ones are riding the bus for the first time , Anthony will do okay I think, last year he wanted to ride the bus real bad , his Mom told he couldn’t ride the bus as they did not live on a bus route, he said ” But Mom you can follow the bus and pick me up ” this is Jacobs first time on his own he is only four and the baby of their family his brothers are all alot older than he is so he is use to getting his way, but maybe it will be good for him , now if they just get him on the right bus .sure don’t want any missing kids.

Well thats about it for the woods, so I am off to try and visit and see what you all are up to.

Hello and happy Wednesday  Just another day around here, but we did get lots of rain yesterday, of course it is so dry it will take alot more , in the 10 years I have lived here I have never seen our lake so low, maybe more rain today NO Storms Please .

Baby Darieus is doing fine seems that what was wrong with him was nothing but the darn doctors they gave his Mom pain meds just before he was born and seems he got a full dose after they wore off, he was okay had the whole family jumpping hoops thinking some is really wrong with our baby , it was a very bad 24 hours

So now the little man is home and I bet his sister is having fits of her own, have not talked to them so don’t know how Caprice is taking a new baby she is Daddy litle girl.

He is almost as big as a doll , but he was still early , he was over 6 pounds, doctor said if he had been full term he would have been a whopper like around 9 or 10 pounds , Me  I am just happy he is okay and home safe, now if Caprice doesn’t drag him around like a rag doll        wish I could see him but guess pictures will have to do for now.

Boy I have so much fun and exciting things to write about, Well my life is peaceful for the most part and believe me thats good because it has been along hard road getting here, But like they say if have to have the pain of life so you know when the good parts come around.

Well they gave his a name ” Darieus Deandre ” I wonder where these kids come up with some of names they give their young , but nothing surprise me anymore , well as long as he is okay I am happy, Don’t know when I will get to see/meet him but sooner or later hopefully I will, its just such along trip for me these days and when I go I try and stay a week or so and I always stay in a hotel/motel as I need space and rest and they are all so busy , and I kinda like being by myself after afew hours dealing with all of them , I love them all dearly but I can just take so much fun-sun and kids , and I have to try and visit all of them and thats takes time , if you spend more time with one than the other , they get their little feeling hurt and you know how that goes , “poor babies” and where thay all live is close to each other but still spread out seems I am always driving as it is like 30-40 mles between them , they all live in small towns but not in the same ones and small towns in Texas are many some or short trips between and others are longer.

Well we did get some much needed rain last week but now the Sun and the heat or back was back to 100 yesterday , guess I will have to start watering again tomorrow. he did the weed eating and mowning yesterday and now the grass will dry out faster. he has taken the grass catcher off the mowner and just the pipe on the side and when he is mowning is looks like a grass storm out there.

As you can see, but hey he is spreading it out across the yard  

Sure want to sleep in this morning but no, here it is 5:45 am and I have been up for over an hour grrrrr- yesterday morning I was sleeping so good and I:ll be dammed if his daughter didn’t call at 5:30 am and woke me and then the fool didn’t want me to wake him up, Hey why the hell did you call, all she wants is more money and that ain’t gonna happen, she has gotta $3000.00 outta him but that will be all she gets.

Well guess I will try and visit hope all are well and happy –

 Well got another new great grandson yesterday he was due for 6 more weeks but guess he was in a hurry, he was having some problems yesterday and was not sucking wouldn’t even try , little early birds are like that you have to work with them , but the last I heard last night he had starting taking his food so hopefuly al is wel with him, no name yet

   But looks like he can  cry ok

Way to early , I really hate getting up at 3 am but I know he hates getting up at 3 am and going to work so guess its all good  I did get around here a little yesterday , yeah yeah I know I am slow but I try

Have been working on getting lazier everyday , Have to water my yard almost everyday it has been really hot here and will get back to 100 again today, I’ll be staying inside as much as I can , just go out and move the water hoses around, I make him mown on the highest sitting to try and keep the grass from dying so its pretty deep out there but the grass is thick and green so must be doing something right sure glad we have a water well or there would be no watering and I would have a brown dead yard.

Summer time TV sucks there just isn’t much on to watch and I have a satellite and 250 channels and everything sucks they show the same movies on all the darn movie channels and they show them over and over I have been watching reruns of “Touch by A Angel ” I love that show, but now that song ” I’ll Walk With You” just keeps running thur my head all the time I wake up with it and go to sleep with it, I hate when a song gets stuck in my head like that even if I do like the song. strange !!!!!!!!!!!

Clouds have been playing tricks on me, it will get all cloudie and thunder booming and then just pass right over , like ” SEE YA ”

Haven’t talked to any of kids in a day or two so guess they are all okay , or they don’t want anything at the moment, this is a hard time of year for them with little ones and school age children so we always help with new outfits and school supplies, sure glad they are not all the same age, the oldest grandchild is 27 and the youngest ( his baby brother) is 4 years old, seems like there is two sets of them the older one or all in their 20′s and  most of the younger ones or in their teens all but the 4 year old, of course now there all the greats and that number is growing  there or 8 of them and two on the way, one next month and one in Nov. so in all that makes 14 grands and 8 greats and they are all great , they sure won’t all fit in my house well I did say my family was growing, HEY KIDS YOU CAN SLOW DOWN NOW!

Well some how or another I got locked out of my site ( well that is afterI cleaned my internet cache ) and could not find or get my password my ISP was blocking the clickable link and I was having all kinds of hell , oh well old dummy finally found password ( it was right where I had left it ) well for some reason the fonts have changed on me and I am not going to try and see why .  I know I am not the smartest egg in the box but I surely not the dumbest of course thats up to who ever may read this . I do not seem to be able to get here to often and I don’t really know too many people here anymore but wil try and get around to the ones I do , and see what up with everyone , and hope to find them all well and happy.

My keyboard has a mind of its own and when I type double letters I have watch every one or it will only give me one of them  ( not that I type all that well anyway )

Family just keeps growing have another new g-granddaughter Isbella Marie she is 2-3 months old already and I of course have seen her, those 3 and 4 hundred mile trips are not near as much fun are as easy as they once were , and Elizabeth Rayne is 8 months and she has started walking already you miss alot when they live so far away, Anthony is starting his second year of schooling and Laci is starting her first those are g-grands and Jacob is starting his first year and he is a grandson . yep I have all ages running around I always wanted lots of babies but never dreamed I would live to see so many of them, guess God has just blessed me.
