    It is hard when you have a loved one in harms way, for you are helpless to help them or keep them safe, but as our children and grandchildren grow up they step into their own lives and kinda leave you behind,  as most of you who know me know that three of my grandchildren were with me for 12 years so they were very close to me.2 boys and 1 girl )  Well now they are all grown and Jeremey has a baby girl of his own and twins stepchildren ( I hate that word because they are like his own kids) and Jayla has a son and a new baby girl , But Josh is in the Marines and he is in Iraq and has been for awhile now ( I can’t hardly handle it ) but he is coming home soon if the Lord is willing but then he has to go to Afghanistan ,

    It was hard with my own kids but it is worse with my grandkids , Josh was the the sweetest kid and the most tender hearted of all my grandbabies and for him to be in Iraq has got to be killing him and I am afraid that Afghanistan will be worse ( God please keep him safe )

    GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU SAFE BABY, I LOVE YOU.   KEEP THEM ALL SAFE AND BRING THEM HOME.

    May all your loved ones be safe , and those who still live in our hearts watch over them.

  • Good thoughts & vibes for Josh’s safe return… it’s tough having family in combat situations, I know, especially the way things are these days. 

    Marines are the best of best!  Semper Fidelis!

  • Prayers for a safe tour for Josh! You have much to keep your heart heavy this week, When I have a time like that I find it helpful to make a gratitude list. It does so much to lift my heart!
