• SATURDAY

  Well its saturday morning early  don’t know why I can not slep late on week ends BUT NO not me I wake up around 4 am and can’t go back to sleep Sooooooooo here I am drinking coffee and trying to post something new  wanted to visit everybody but things got in the way or maybe I should say life got in the way ..

  As most of you know my sister has lung cancer and for the last two years it has been rough on al of us she is stil with us but just barely and it is hard to watch a loved one go thur that, she gets weaker every day and sleeps alot she is in alot of pain and and they give her so much pain meds its no wonder that she sleeps all the time, I think after awhile and you take so many that they don’t work any more because you have gotten so use to them.

  We went thur- radiation-chemotherapy-I have taken her to so many doctors I had to get a note book to keep up with where we needed to be next ( I love my sister and would do anything to help her) we had pet scans-lung imaging. it was some new all most everyday. first they started her off with fours weeks of radiation and we had to go in fives days a week for that – then they started chemo and we went once a week for that for four months , the first round of chemo did well and the tumors were almost gone but then a new one grew, so they had to stop giving her that chemo and try tried a stronger one but it was to strong for her and really knocked her down, and since them she has weak , the last chemo made she really sick and made her have realy bad nose bleeds it was scary and all her hair came out so I had to shave her head, wel she only had two treatments of that and they tool her off it because she just could not handle it. then we went thur another round of radiation , but nothing stopped the cancer but it did slow it down.

  Then she had some kind of spell , she had been in the hospital and her granddaughter was staying with her at night and she came in one after noon and found her acting realy strange , kinda like a person who had a stroke, so they rush her to the hospital , But it wasn’t a stroke and no body knows what happened, so from then on she couldn’t be left alone, I told her kids they had to step up and help as I just could not do everything, and I couldn’t stay with her 24/7 ———-So her granddaughter and youngest daughter were going to take turns staying with her, of course that didn’t last long as the granddaughter has two young daughters of her own and she works and goes to school too –So then her daughter just about moved in with her- but she has a family too-so her husband added aroom to thier house so they could move her in with them, and they did–of course sister isn’t too happy about that but something had top be done, I didn’t have room here and her other daughter is too sick herself ( she is on the liver transplant list) so guess this will have to work, I don’t get to see as much because they lived way out on the other side of the county from me , and I just don’t feel up to druving all the way everyday—–( I know I know I am lazy )  then everybody knows I am not getting any younger either. nor any smarter  anyway the last two years have not been easy.

  But do have some good news,  3 count’em 3 new great-granddaugters- Caprice-Marlee-and Elizabeth Rayne -Caprice is one year old and Marlee is 10 months and Rayne is 3 months I went up and stayed with Jayla when Rayne was born . they are all beautiful and sweet
