  • Hey, woman!!  It’s so refreshing to see a wife stand up for herself against the step-kids!  I’ve been there, and I know it’s no picnic in the woods.  People can only take advantage of us if we let them.  As hard as it is sometimes, we do have to say “no” now and again.  I hope your husband will support you in the decisions ahead.  God Bless You, my friend!

  • Glad to hear what’s been going on in your life! I hope it all works out well in the end, and it is good that there is forgiveness in the air… kids need their parenets and parents need their kids…. good for you about not just handing over the keys to the kingdom too!

I hope my site is not one that troubles you… I have trouble at a few sites myself…. they freeze up on me. I think some sites have too much fancy graphics in the layouts and then they post large picture files… and its just too much for some computers….

  • Glad his kids are starting to come back into his life… I hate to see parents and children apart like that.  Life is too short.  Sometimes it is what it is, I know.  My God kids are going through crap right now because of their biological father… after this, I don’t think they’ll ever be interested in seeing him or being with him again… ever.

  • we had are Thanksgiving in October in Canada

  • The friends I have made on Xanga are so much a part of my life that I often forget we don’t celebrate the same Holidays.  I don’t think children ever loose that connection to their parents.  No matter the distance between them.  My son for instance he went to visit his dad after year’s of no contact his father’s doing.  He told his dad upfront he wanted nothing from him nothing and he could never be his dad that he lost that chance but he would like him as a friend.  They call and talk on the phone but don’t visit in person, my son invited him to visit and his dear old dad said he would but never showed up never called to say he wasn’t coming at that point what little Tony felt for him vanished.  It’s not your husbands or your place to step in and clear any child’s debts they made them they need to pay them.  Glad you are standing ground on that matter.  I only have 3 to buy for my two children and Michelle’s sweetie so it’s not a struggle for me and I over spoil them on Christmas but it’s the only time I over spoil them rotten.  Nothing wrong with homemade cookies yummy I like cookies especially if they have nuts in them.  I hope to make my walnut fudge this year if all goes well with the weather if it’s damp and foggy it’s a waste to even try.  Love from us 3 gals in Virginia and Matthew the fish.
